The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the physical screening and document verification phase for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into paramilitary services.
Secretary to the Board, Major-General Ahmed Jibril (rtd) made the announcement in a press statement Saturday, June 13, 2026, night in Abuja.
The board directed all candidates who participated in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 to verify their shortlisting status through its official portal between Monday, 15 June and Friday, 20 June 2026.
According to the board, successful applicants will be required to log onto the designated recruitment portal using their original application numbers, upload their academic credentials, and select a preferred date and venue for the physical verification exercise.
The management strongly warned applicants against patronising employment racketeers, emphasizing that the recruitment portal does not require any financial transaction to clear candidates for the subsequent stages.
