President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the postings of 31 career and 34 non-career ambassadors to various countries and the United Nations.


Tinubu released a second list of ambassadorial nominees on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
The Senate confirmed the ambassadors-designate in December 2025.
Among those who received postings are a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri; a former minister, Femi Fani-Kayode; Senator Ita Enang, and a former INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu.


According to a statement by the presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, the non-career ambassadors who received postings are a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri (Mexico); a former minister, Femi Fani-Kayode (Germany), Senator Ita Enang (South Africa), and a former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu (Qatar).
