The Akwa Ibom State Property and Investments Company Limited (APICO) has revoked the allocation of three plots in the Itiam/Eniong/Ewet Housing Estate in Uyo, the state capital.
The revocation which takes effect from November 10, follows a 90-day notice of intention to revoke Undeveloped plots as was published in The Nation, July 28 and Pioneer newspapers of July 29, 2025.
The revoked plots belong to Mrs. Uduak D.U. Nkanga of Plot 6 Unit E, Chief Samuel Akpan Ntekpe Plot 21A, Unit E and Dr. Nsidibe Ikpe of Plot 164, Unit F.
According to the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, APICO , Barr. Patrick Udomfang and the Company’s Secretary who doubles as the Legal Adviser, Ekerette Ekanem Esq explains in a release that the revocation is due to non-development of the plots as stated in the Company’s notice.
According to the release, the plots have reverted to APICO, held in trust for the Akwa Ibom State Government.
Owners of the revoked plots are advised to view Vanguard newspaper of Monday 17th November 2025 and warns them against further involvement in the plots as
members of the public are strongly advised to exercise caution and conduct thorough diligence to avoid buying a wrong title.
