The National Coordinator, NC, of a socio-political support group for the re-election of both Senate President Godswill Akpabio and President Bola Tinubu in 2027, Team Akpabio For Tinubu, TAT, Hon. Felix Ngutswen, has appointed a veteran journalist, Mr Idorenyin Umoren, as Senior Special Adviser On Media and Publicity.

This was contained in a letter dated September 14, 2025 and signed by the NC and by this appointment, Umoren would be responsible for issuing Press Releases on behalf of the NC and publishing of TAT News.
Mr Umoren an experience journalist from Akwa Ibom State is an expert in political communication and marketing, and both a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, and Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria, CRAN. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma, PGD, in Journalism from the prestigious International Institute of Journalism, Abuja, in addition to Bachelor Of Science, B.Sc, degree in Computer Science.

A former production manager of the Akwa Ibom State Government-owned newspaper, The Pioneer, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has been at different times, cartoonist, head of computer, head of news, editor of science desk, production editor, deputy production and manager.
In 2013, Mr Umoren was in Santon, Johannesburg, South Africa, reporting Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference International events for the government of Akwa Ibom State.


He is a Jerusalem Pilgrim, JP, publisher of The SituationReport magazine and The NewsDesk online newspaper, and is married to Mandu, and both are blessed with three children.
