Hulk Hogan, the professional wrestling legend who helped catapult the WWE (then WWF) into mainstream pop culture in the 1980s with his larger-than-life persona and trademark “Hulkamania” catchphrase, has died at the age of 71.

TMZ reports that Hogan died of cardiac arrest on Thursday, July 24, at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Outside of his professional wrestling career, Hogan appeared in films including Rocky III, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Mr. Nanny, and more.
