An Akwa Ibom Referee, Zachariah Nde, has been selected as one of the assistant referees for the 2025 Nigeria National League, NNL, Super-8 Tournament, taking place from 5th to 12th July at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.
Referee Nde is among 16 top officials—drawn from across the country and carefully selected by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, who will officiate the high-stakes playoff competition.
The Super-8 is to determine which teams gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
According to reports from CARETAKER NewsNow, this year’s tournament will run under the technical guidance of Dr Alex Sule Mana, with fitness supervision by Bola Sekitiri.
Zachariah Nde’s selection is seen as a big achievement for Akwa Ibom’s refereeing community, marking another step forward for the state in national football development.
