Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has expanded its fleet with the addition of a brand-new Embraer 190 aircraft, the first of its kind in the airline’s operations.

The announcement was made via the airline’s official Facebook page on Monday, June 23.

In a post tagged “New Bird Alert!”, Air Peace revealed that the 118-seater jet touched down at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Sunday, June 22, 2025.

The airline described the delivery as a significant milestone that signals its growing commitment to enhancing passenger experience and boosting regional connectivity.

“We’ve officially welcomed our first Embraer 190 to the Air Peace fleet. This newest addition will further expand our reach, enhance comfort, and strengthen our commitment to seamless travel across all our domestic and regional operations,” the post read.

Air Peace also hinted that more units of the E190 are expected to join the fleet in the coming months, marking a strategic move to modernize its aircraft lineup and accommodate increasing passenger demand.

With this latest addition, Air Peace continues to assert its position as a dominant player in West Africa’s aviation industry, offering improved services and increased route flexibility.
