Robert Francis Prevost OSA, an American Catholic bishop. He served as the Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops.
Born on September 14, 1955, he was ordained as an Augustinian priest. He has held various roles within the Church, including serving as the Bishop of Chiclayo, Peru. Late Pope Francis appointed him as the Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops in 2023.
