The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on Friday, May 2, summoned Air Peace over incessant flight delays and cancellations.

The DGCA, Capt. Chris Najomo told Air Peace to immediately improve its domestic operations and trim operations to the size of available aircraft in its fleet to mitigate the crisis.

The DGCA gave the charge during a meeting in Abuja with some management staff of the airline.

The airline representatives while acknowledging that it has some challenges that are not unusual in the industry, noted it was working round the clock to fix them.

Najomo while stating that the NCAA will continue to support the airlines, added that operators must comply with the regulations and global best practices.

He warned that the NCAA was increasing its monitoring of flight operations across all airlines to ensure compliance.
