Carloha Nigeria has announced that it would present the Chery Most Valuable Player (MVP) award to Super Eagles’ best player in tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, in Uyo.

Carloha said that the Chery MVP Award will recognise the best-performing Super Eagles player during the match and will be presented immediately after the game by the firm’s senior representatives and Chery International, as part of their broader commitment to supporting Nigerian football. The Chery MVP will be selected by a panel of sports journalists present at the stadium.

It said that the initiative is part of Carloha’s efforts to promote excellence, reward sportsmanship, and deepen its connection with the Nigerian football community.

Reflecting on the recent victory while announcing the award, Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria, Sola Adigun, said: “We congratulate the Super Eagles on their remarkable 2-0 win against Rwanda.

This triumph is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and persistence that define our national team—qualities that resonate deeply with the Chery brand. Football is more than just a sport; it is a unifying force that brings Nigerians together, and Chery is honoured to be part of this journey.

“As a brand, we are committed to strengthening our presence in Nigeria by offering world-class automobiles that cater to the needs of our consumers. With the Super Eagles partnership, we are not only supporting football but also reinforcing our vision of mobility, performance, and progress in Nigeria”
