Governor Eno Approves Employment Of Health, Safety Workers In Akwa Ibom

|HEALTH| Governor Umo Eno PhD, has approved the employment of 600 health workers and 100 occupational safety officers as part of efforts to strengthen public service delivery and improve healthcare and workplace safety in the State.

This announcement was made by the Head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong Essien in his office during an interaction with the newsmen.

“The health sector will benefit significantly, with 400 new health workers designated for the primary health sector and 200 for the secondary health sector, ensuring improved access to quality healthcare across the state.

“In addition, 100 professional occupational safety officers will be recruited to uphold workplace safety standards and protect workers’ welfare.”

Speaking on the recruitment process, the Head of Service, Elder Effiong Essien, confirmed and encouraged all qualified individuals to apply through the Akwa Ibom State employment portal, which is designed to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process.
