The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has raised its pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol in by 14.8 per cent to N1,030 per litre from N897, NextEdition reports.

The latest price increase, which took effect from Wednesday, October 9, 2024, makes it the second time the petrol price has been hiked in the past month.

The increase was noticed early Wednesday in Lagos where most filling stations did not dispense their products until the price increase announcement.
