President Bola Tinubu has sworn in eight newly appointed permanent secretaries at the council chamber in Abuja.
This ceremony is part of an effort to fill existing and impending vacancies across various states and geopolitical zones within the top administrative cadre of the Civil Service of the Federation.
The eight directors elevated to the rank of permanent secretaries underwent a rigorous selection process. They successfully passed a written examination, demonstrated their ICT proficiency, and participated in an interactive session with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
This strategic appointment is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Civil Service, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the Nigerian populace.
The new permanent secretaries include Emanso Okop (Akwa-Ibom); Obi Vitalis (Anambra); Mahmood Fatima (Bauchi); and Danjuma Sanusi (Jigawa).
Others are Olusanya Olubunmi (Ondo); Keshinro Ismaila (Zamfara); Akujobi Ijeoma (South-East); and Isokpunwu Osaruwanmwen (South-South).
