The Super Eagles have arrived in Abidjan, the capital city of Cote D’Ivoire to face Benin Republic in the Match-day 4 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup which holds on Monday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The African silver medalists have all to play for as they are placed fifth on the log with three points from three matches.

Benin Republic, having won their Matchday 3 tie with Rwanda (1-0) are in confident mood ahead of their home game versus Nigeria. Former Super Eagles and the Cheetahs Head Coach, Gernot Rohr, will want to seize the opportunity to take a pound of flesh from Nigeria following the way he was shown the exit doors.

The Super Eagles will have a feel of the turf during their first training session today at 5:00pm which is opened to the media in the first fifteen minutes.

Less fancied Lesotho are topping Group C table with five points while Benin Republic, Rwanda and South Africa who have garnered four points each are second, third and fourth on the log.
