Akwa Ibom l Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has urged youths of the State to emulate Barr. Onofiok Luke, describing his life as that of restatement to resilience, grace, grit and pursuit of excellence.
The Governor in a birthday wish to the immediate past House of Reps Member for Etinan/Nsit Ubium/ Nsit Ibom Federal Constituency stated that Luke, ” is embodiment and exemplar of what our youths who believe and are willing to Arise and beat the odds, can achieve”.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I join your family, friends and associates to wish you a Happy Birthday.
“Your life, has been a restatement to resilience, grace , grit and pursuit of excellence.
“You believed in the possibilities that tomorrow may bring, even when the circumstances appeared dire and uncertain.
“You claimed the future and the stars aligned because you believed.
“Today, you are an embodiment and exemplar of what our youths who believe and are willing to Arise and beat the odds, can achieve.
“As you turn a year older, I pray for more robust health, more favour and more faith in the immutable Grace of the Almighty God.
“Congratulations once again my Honourable Brother!”, the Governor said.
Luke, a one time University of Uyo students leader is also a former Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and yesterday celebrated his 16th marriage anniversary.
