The Forum for Ex-agitators, Akwa Ibom chapter, has expressed its readiness to support the state government in addressing security concerns across the state.

The forum’s chairman, Dr. Albam Paulinus, stated this during the official inauguration of the forum in Uyo, Monday, March 11, 2024.

Paulinus warned sea pirates, kidnappers, armed robbers and other non-state actors to leave the state and added that the forum would not allow criminal elements to cripple the peace being enjoyed in the state.

The chairman stated that the forum will not hesitate to punish any erring member who may want to sabotage aims and objectives of the organisation.

“Akwa Ibom ex-agitator has been yearning for a platform to make contributory efforts in sustaining the peace in the state.

“As an organisation, we are ready to partner Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State in tackling all social vices to help maintain and sustain the peaceful atmosphere in the state.

“We want to help make Akwa Ibom state an investor’s haven because where there is no peace and security, investment cannot thrive,” he stated. – BLUEPRINT
