Musa Promises Nations Cup Title

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has again said that the team will make Nigerians proud by winning a fourth AFCON title in Ivory Coast, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The 2023 tournament kicks off January 13 and will be played till February 11.

It’s been 11 years since Nigeria last won the tournament and Musa, who was part of the winning team in 2013, restated the team’s commitment to winning again during their send forth dinner in Lagos on Tuesday.

“We are ambitious and we will do our best. The AFCON is an important tournament for every African player, and we are all looking forward to giving our best to make the nation proud,” Musa said.
