President Bola Tinubu; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; and other stakeholders, on Wednesday, observed a one-minute silence in honour of the late Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, at the Lagos State House in Marina.
The Special Assistant to the Lagos Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, disclosed this in a video shared on his X handle on Wednesday.
His caption read, “ONE MINUTE-SILENCE for the former Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin RotimiAkeredolu observed today by Mr. President, Governor Jide Sanwoolu, and other top Lagos stakeholders at the Lagos House, Marina.”
TheNewsDesk reports that the Ondo State Governor died on Wednesday at 67.
According to a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, the governor died in Germany on Wednesday after battling prostate cancer.
