Akwa Ibom Governor , His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, has called on everyone in the State to set aside ethnicity, political divide and appreciate God for blessing the State with the number three man in the Federation.
Governor Eno who was the chief host, said this at the reception ceremony and 61st birthday celebration of the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, held at Godswill Akpabio Int’l. Stadium (The Nest of Champions), Uyo, Saturday.
Governor Eno, accompanied by his wife, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno, led a State delegation to attend the occasion.
The host governor, said the event was a celebration of a worthy son, whom God has blessed.
He expressed appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic, Bola Tinubu for governing the country beyond party lines, which is evidenced in the numerous times he has been involved to accompany the President to national events despite being a member of the opposition party.
