A former lawmaker, Otuekong Sunny Jackson Udoh has advised Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umoh Eno to show wisdom and magnanimity after his triumph at the Supreme Court last Thursday.

Reacting to the judgment that affirmed the election of Pastor Eno as governor of Akwa Ibom state, the former House of Assembly member in the second republic, said, during an interview weekend, that the governor should forgive his opposers and presumed traducers as it is time for him to focus on his developmental programs.

“Your Excellency, you should see this Supreme Court victory as the perfect will of God and the irrefutable choice of Akwa Ibom people.

“It also reinforces the confidence of the people in your Government,” he said.

The elder stateman appealed to all Akwa Ibom people to support Pastor Eno’s government,
emphasizing that the time for politicking was over hence everyone needed to ensure the optimal development of the state.

“I believe we all want the state to progress; this is the spirit all of us, including supporters of the opposition party, should imbibe. T

“The development of the state is not negotiable and should not be compromised for any petty reason.

“We should rally around this government, to ensure progress and stability,” he counselled.
