The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Council, Comrade Nsibiet John , has congratulated the Union’s National Trustee, Comrade Gabriel Ekaidem , on his appointment as Head of Local Government Service in Akwa Ibom State.
Comrade John described the appointment as a significant milestone in Ekaidem’s public service career, expressing confidence that his experience and commitment would contribute to effective administration and improved service delivery at the local government level.
The NUJ Chairman wished the newly appointed Head of Local Government Service success in his new responsibility, urging him to sustain the values of professionalism, accountability and dedication to public service.
He also expressed optimism that Ekaidem’s appointment would provide an opportunity to strengthen local government administration and promote effective service delivery across the state.
Comrade John reaffirmed the Akwa Ibom State Council’s goodwill towards the appointee, wishing him wisdom, good health and fulfilment as he takes on the new assignment.
