Operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command raided an uncompleted building at Plot 70, Unit ‘A’, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, at approximately 5:30 AM, recovering a cache of suspected stolen items, the suspects fled through the back door upon the police’s arrival, leaving behind various goods, with no arrests made.
This was contained in a Press Release by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Timfon John in Uyo.

The recovered items include three split-unit air conditioners, a Butterfly sewing machine, four and a half fathoms of wax materials, three door curtains, two Polo t-shirts, a school bag, four new pairs of men’s native attire with a pair of trousers, a new black female gown, two white and orange jerseys, a teddy bear, and half a yard of plain material.
DSP Timfon John assures that the Police are working to identify the owners of the items and are urging the public to provide information to aid the investigation.
