The National Rescue Movement, NRM, Akwa Ibom State Chapter has congratulated the Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno on his defection from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to All Progressive Congress APC.
The congratulatory message signed by the State Chairman, Coach Chris Ben, warmly congratulated His Excellency on the bold and progressive move, in marking a new chapter in the state’s political landscape.
Coach Ben, while congratulating Governor Eno in the message said: “We commend your courageous decision, exercising your constitutional right to affiliate with a party that aligns with your vision for Akwa Ibom State’s development.
“As the state’s Chief Executive, your leadership will undoubtedly shape the future of our great state as expected.
“We in the Rescue Movement urge you to leverage this new partnership with the ruling party to drive meaningful progress, particularly in flagship projects like the ‘Ibom Deep Seaport’.
The people of Akwa Ibom eagerly await these tangible results to justify your celebrated progressive movement. Into APC.
“We appreciate your advocacy and commitment to all inclusive governance, embodied in the ‘Akwa Ibom United’ approach.
“We also recommend advocating and extending this all inclusive collaborative team spirit to your local governments Chairmen and stakeholders to foster a more United all inclusive governance in the rural areas with holistic human development amongst all political parties as preached by your Excellency.
“As a forward-thinking political party with the mandate to rescuing our citizens, we the National Rescue Movement (NRM) in the state, pledges our support for initiative agenda promoting economic growth, social justice, and human development in Akwa Ibom State.
