An Akwa Ibom Political Group, Tinubu Umo Eno Support Organization, has called for support from Akwa Ibom citizens for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno in 2027 general elections.

The group, in a brief interview, its Convener, Michael Joseph Okon, said it would be to the disadvantage of Akwa Ibom State not to support President Tinubu and Governor Eno in 2027.

It, however, expressed optimism that people of the State are already buying into both the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, and the ARISE Agenda of Governor Eno and the message had started sinking gradually, adding that in 2027, the people would vote massively for them.

The group said, “The only time to demonstrate that Akwa Ibom has taken its proper seat in strategic planning and geopolitical renaissance in Nigeria is in the upcoming 2027 election, and the best choice for Akwa Ibom people to make is to unanimously key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“For us at Tinubu Umo Eno Support Organization, President Tinubu has shown immense courage to address issues like diversion of funds by state governments, delays in remitting funds, and ultimately vision to enhance local government accountability and development.

“The audacious move by Mr President to end fuel subsidy is a political will that has liberated Nigeria from the claws of oil cabals.

“While the Akwa Ibom Governor Pastor Umo Eno has demonstrated and shown good governance by way of infrastrural development, empowerment of citizens, in addition to working with the people across party lines,” he said.

Convener Okon called on every Akwa Ibom person to join hands, heads and minds together to support continued developmental progress by supporting both President Tinubu’s and Governor Eno’s re-election in 2027.

The Tinubu Umo Eno Support Organization, Akwa Ibom State, supports the emergence of humane leadership towards building a greater future for all and re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno in 2027.
