Remo Stars Extend Lead with Narrow Win Over Plateau United

Remo Stars have extended their dominance at the top of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table after a slim 1-0 victory over Plateau United on Sunday.

Olasupo S. was the hero for the Sky-Blue Stars, scoring the only goal of the match in the 74th minute to hand Remo Stars all three points on matchday 27.

The victory sees Remo Stars move 12 points clear at the top with 54 points, edging closer to their first-ever NPFL title with just 11 matches left to play.

Elsewhere, Enyimba boosted their hopes of climbing up the table with a narrow 1-0 win away at Niger Tornadoes, while Sunshine Stars thrashed Kwara United 4-2 in a thrilling encounter.
