The Management and Staff of Akwa Savings and Loans Ltd, Uyo has celebrated the newly appointed Commissioners and Special Advisers in Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking with newsmen in the Corporate Headquarters of the bank along Abak Road, Uyo, over the weekend, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Pastor Ime Okon warmly congratulated the new State Executive Council Members and described their appointments as well- deserved.
He also congratulated the appointees for their successful screening in the Akwa Ibom State House Assembly last week which led to the their subsequent inauguration by the Governor on Monday.
He commended Governor Umo Eno for the choice of his cabinet members, believing that they will support the Governor in the ARISE Agenda for the betterment of the state.
Okon expressed confidence that the new Commissioners and Special Advisers will bring their experiences and capacities in their various fields of endeavours to further drive progress and prosperity for the state.
He said, “we in Akwa Savings and Loans Ltd are happy with this appointment and we strongly hope that their experiences and capacities in their fields will further drive development to the state “.
The Managing Director described them as men and women of proven integrity, competence with examplary services and leadership qualities.
Speaking on the 58th posthumous birthday of the former first lady, late Pastor Mrs Patience Umo Eno, the Akwa Savings and Loans Ltd Director lauded the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady, Lady Helen Eno Obareki for sustaining the vision and aspiration of her mother through the Golden Initiative For All (GIFA).
He prayed God continue to sustain and protect the family and wished the Governor a successful first term and beyond.
