Akwa Ibom State blessed with 1st Indigenous female COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, CP REGINA COSMAS UDOETTE, PSC,
*She is the first Akwa Ibom girl child to be a CP. She is from Ikot Ekpene by birth and Obot Akara by marriage.
*She was born on 15/8/1967 and got enrolled in the NPF in1992 as cadet ASP
*She graduated from the UNIVERSITY OF UYO, in 1989 with a Bs.C in Communication Art.
*She is married to Sir Bar COSMAS UDOETTE KSM, the former NBA CHAIRMAN IKOT EKPENE
*She is a devout Christian, Catholic by faith
*She was promoted ACP in 2020
*Her promotion as CP come in her 57 birthday, and her 32nd year in service
*She will be due for retirement in 2027 OR 2032 if the president approved additional 5 years as proposed
