The Akwa Ibom Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, in just ten months in office has effectively cleared N453.5 million in salary arrears for workers in 9 Local Government Areas, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Frank Archibong has disclosed.
This payment, amidst challenging economic circumstances, brings relief to our dedicated LG workers, reaffirming Governor Eno’s reputation as a leader who prioritizes the welfare of his people, he emphasized.
