NDLEA Announces Free Drug Integrity Tests For New Recruits In Four Agencies

By SituationREPORT –

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has announced that applicants recruited into four agencies under the Ministry of Interior will not be required to pay for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test, DIT.

In a post shared via X on Friday, October 30, 2026, the agency said the exercise covers new intakes of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

The NDLEA said the Ministry of Interior had already made a bulk payment to cover the drug testing of the new intakes, warning candidates and personnel against making payments to officials or testing centres.

“The Agency wishes to emphasise that no payment is required from any candidate or personnel presenting for the Drug Integrity Test, as the Ministry of Interior has already made bulk payment to cover the testing of its new intakes,” the notice stated.

It further advised participating agencies and their personnel “not to make any payment to NDLEA officials, testing centres or through any other payment channel in respect of this exercise.”

The agency explained that candidates would be required to access the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test portal through a designated link or access point to be provided on their respective institutional portals.

According to the notice, applicants would use the platform to complete the necessary registration and documentation before proceeding with the test, without making additional payments.

The NDLEA also urged candidates to follow the designated process to ensure a smooth and orderly exercise.

The agency appreciated the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior, reaffirming its commitment to a transparent and efficient implementation of the testing process.
