Dr Abel Damina: Victor Attah International Airport Looks Like Heaven

The Founder and President of Power City International, Dr. Abel Damina, has praised the Akwa Ibom State Government for the development of the Victor Attah International Airport, describing the facility as one that “looks like heaven.” He said the airport is a world-class infrastructure project that reflects the state’s commitment to development and progress.

Dr. Damina made the remarks during a church service at Power City International in Uyo on Sunday June 28, 2026, speaking to members of the congregation, he expressed admiration for the quality and beauty of the airport, noting that it has become a source of pride for Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria as a whole.

According to him, the airport is not only an impressive piece of infrastructure but also a blessing to the people of the state. He stated that he personally benefits from the facility and appreciates the government’s efforts in providing such a valuable asset for residents and visitors.

“The Akwa Ibom State Government is doing a great job in ensuring such an amazing project for the people. I am a great partaker of the facility because it is a blessing to me and to the people,” he said.

Dr. Damina also encouraged members of his church and other residents of Akwa Ibom State to visit the airport, even if they do not have immediate travel plans. He explained that seeing the facility firsthand could inspire hope, broaden perspectives, and help people appreciate the level of development taking place within the state.

The respected cleric further noted that the Victor Attah International Airport is a landmark achievement that enhances the image of Akwa Ibom State and contributes positively to Nigeria’s reputation. He described the airport as evidence of purposeful leadership and a clear vision for sustainable development.

Dr. Damina expressed gratitude to the Akwa Ibom State Government for investing in infrastructure that benefits citizens, businesses, and visitors. He also commended Governor Pastor Umo Eno for his leadership and commitment to continuing the state’s developmental agenda.

He concluded by describing the airport as a remarkable achievement that deserves appreciation, stating that it stands as a symbol of excellence, progress, and the bright future of Akwa Ibom State.
