The Federal Government has released an updated list of 48 individuals and entities alleged to be involved in financing terrorism in the country.
The list was made public on Saturday, April 11, 2026, via the official website of the Nigeria Sanctions Committee (NiGSAC), the body responsible for implementing targeted sanctions in line with national and international counter-terrorism obligations.
According to the publication, the updated register forms part of ongoing efforts by the Federal Government of Nigeria to strengthen its response to terrorism financing and enhance national security.
The committee noted that the list, which includes both individuals and groups, reflects recent designations and updates under the country’s sanctions regime.
