The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has consoled the PPRO of the Command, DSP Timfon John and her brother DSP Nyeneime John on the passing away of their beloved mother, Mrs. Nkoyo Ita John Ikot.
This was contained in a Press Release signed by The Command’s Deputy PPRO, ASP. Johnmark Onah on behalf of The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, in Uyo on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
The Release described the diseased as a pillar of strength for her family and community, it implores God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost while granting her soul eternal rest.
“The Akwa Ibom State Police Command is deeply saddened by the demise of Late Mrs. Nkoyo Ita John Ikot, beloved mother of DSP Nyeneime Ita John and DSP Timfon Ita John, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command.
“On behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, fsi, and the entire officers and men of the Command, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family over this painful and irreparable loss.
“The Command shares in the grief of our dear officers at this difficult time and acknowledges the life and legacy of the deceased, who was a pillar of strength to her family and community. Her passing is not only a loss to her immediate family but also to all who knew her.
“We pray that the Almighty God grants the family the fortitude to bear this loss and grants the soul of the departed eternal rest.
“The Command stands in solidarity with DSP Nyeneime Ita John and DSP Timfon Ita John and assures them of our full support throughout this period of mourning,” the release concluded.
