Ekere, who spoke with journalists on the sidelines of the convention, described the rancour-free conduct of the exercise and the large turnout of delegates and stakeholders as evidence of the party’s unity and strength.

“It is clear that Mr. President has earned widespread trust and solidarity.” Looking ahead to 2027, he will win convincingly. What we have witnessed is a strong and unmistakable statement of support for his leadership,” he said.

He added that the event reflects the momentum the ruling party intends to carry into the next general elections.
The former APC governorship candidate in 2019 also commended the administration’s transformational reforms under the Renewed Hope agenda, noting that economic policies and infrastructure initiatives are beginning to yield results.

Ekere further praised the President’s inclusive leadership style, which he said has contributed to the party’s growing influence across states.

“President Tinubu has demonstrated a unique ability to unite stakeholders. The growing dominance of our party across the country is a direct reflection of the people’s acceptance of his policies and the inclusive nature of his leadership.
“We are seeing a reinvigorated political base, and the energy here today is proof of that,” the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) asserted.
While congratulating the party’s newly elected executives led by Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, he also urged them to work assiduously to ensure the party’s continued dominance and to secure President Tinubu’s return to Aso Rock.

“Let us take the spirit of Eagle Square back to our wards and local governments. We must work collectively to deliver on our mandate. I wish all delegates and participants a safe journey back to their various destinations as we gear up for the campaigns ahead,” Ekere added.
