Israel has warned that any leader appointed by the Iranian regime to replace Ali Khamenei will be an unequivocal target for elimination.
Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, issued the warning in a statement on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
According to him, it does not matter what the name of such leader would be or where he would hide.
He said that Israel would continue to act with full force, together with their United States, US partners, to dismantle the regime’s capabilities and create the conditions for the Iranian people to overthrow and replace such a person.
“Any leader appointed by the Iranian terror regime to continue leading the plan to destroy Israel, threaten the US and the free world and the countries of the region, and oppress the Iranian people, will be an unequivocal target for elimination,” Katz said.
The NewsDesk had reported that the United States alongside its ally, Israel on Saturday, February 28, 2026, launched an attack on Iran resulting in the death of Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
