APC Holds State Congresses Tuesday, March 3

Ahead of the National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) slated for the 27th and 28th of March, the party is set to hold its state congresses on Tuesday, March 3.

This is coming on the heels of the successful completion of the ward congresses on the 28th of February and local government congresses, along with the election of 3 delegates per local government for the National Convention on Saturday 21st of February.

The Adjusted APC 2026 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses, National Convention and Related Activities signed by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu showed that the State congresses are slated to hold on Tuesday 3rd of March, 2026 while the appeal arising from the congresses will be heard on Wednesday 4th of March, 2026.

Purchase and submission of form for the Zonal Congresses and the National Convention are to be held between Thursday, 13th of March, and Monday 16th of March, 2026.

The party has also fixed the inauguration of Zonal Congresses Screening/Screening Appeal Committees; Zonal Congresses and Zonal Congresses Appeal Committees and National Convention Screening/Screening Appeal Committees for Monday 23rd of March, 2026.

The screening of aspirants for Zonal Congresses and the National Convention are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, the 24th of March, while the Zonal Congresses will hold on Wednesday, the 25th of March.

In the noticed by the National Organizing Secretary, Ibadan will host the South West Zonal Congress, South East Zonal Congress is billed for Enugu and Rivers/Cross River States are to co-host the South South Zonal Congress.

The Zonal Congress for North West will be held in Kaduna while Gombe/Bauchi states will co-host the North East Zonal Congress, and Nasarawa State is penciled down to host the North Central zone.

The party has fixed Thursday 26th of March to entertain any appeal from the Zonal Congresses.

The party’s National Convention is slated for Friday and Saturday 27th and 28th of March, 2026, in Abuja.
