The President of the United States, US, Donald Trump announced that the US will take charge of Venezuela in the interim. “We are going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe transition of power.”
President Trump claimed overnight that the United States carried out airstrikes in Venezuela and captured President Nicolás Maduro.
He said that Venezuela VP will cooperate with the USA team to be led by Secretary of State and Trump himself. He said Venezuela will make a lot of money from crude oil and all citizens will be made rich, they will stop rushing to the USA.
President Trump further stated that two days ago he told Maduro to run away to Russia but he refused.
He said that after the transition period, Free and fair elections will be carried out.
The President said the USA will take back their companies stolen by Venezuela.
He said that Maduro was a truck driver. The USA will not allow illiterate to run Venezuela again.
President Trump said that he watched yesterday’s operations live and he has not slept. No military died, no equipment lost but many Marines were wounded as Maduro soldiers opened fire on them and one of the helicopters.
He said Maduro soldiers were deleted.
The US President said the Secret Service has done a lot of work on the ground and they went straight to the building where Maduro was hiding. He praised NASA to the high heavens for guiding the jets and helicopters and the drones.
