The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed a total of N1.928 trillion to the Federal Government, States, and Local Government Councils from the Federation Account revenue for November 2025.

The figure represents a significant decline of N640 billion compared to the N2.568 trillion shared in October 2025, highlighting a sharp dip in revenue inflows from key sectors.
The revenue distribution was authorized during the December 2025 FAAC meeting held in Abuja, according to a communiqué issued by the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

The N1.928 trillion distributable revenue comprised statutory revenue of N1.403 trillion, Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N485.838 billion, and Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N39.646 billion.
From this total, the Federal Government received N747.159 billion, State Governments received N601.731 billion, and Local Government Councils received N445.266 billion. Additionally, N134.355 billion (representing 13 per cent of mineral revenue) was shared among oil-producing states as derivation revenue.

A comparison of the reports reveals a widespread decline in revenue generation. The gross statutory revenue for November stood at N1.736 trillion, showing a shortfall of N427.969 billion when compared to the N2.164 trillion received in October.
Similarly, gross revenue from Value Added Tax (VAT) dropped to N563.042 billion in November, a decrease of N156.785 billion from the N719.827 billion available in October.

The communiqué further indicated that while Excise Duty recorded a moderate increase, other critical revenue streams—including Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Hydrocarbon Tax (HT), Companies Income Tax (CIT), Oil and Gas Royalties, Import Duty, and VAT—recorded substantial decreases during the period under review.
Under the distributable statutory revenue of N1.403 trillion, the Federal Government took the lion’s share of N668.336 billion, followed by States with N338.989 billion, and Local Government Councils with N261.346 billion. The 13 per cent derivation fund for oil-producing states amounted to N134.355 billion.
From the VAT pool of N485.838 billion, the Federal Government received N72.876 billion, while States and Local Governments received N242.919 billion and N170.043 billion, respectively.
Regarding the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), the Federal Government received N5.947 billion, States got N19.823 billion, and Local Governments received N13.876 billion.
The total gross revenue available for November was N2.343 trillion. Deductions for the cost of collection amounted to N84.251 billion, while total transfers, interventions, refunds, and savings stood at N330.625 billion.
