Akwa Ibom Govt Opens Revalidation of Land Allocations, Dec 1

The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the commencement of the revalidation exercise for all land allocations and related interests revoked earlier in the year.

In a statement dated November 27, 2025, and signed by the Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Uko Essien Udom, SAN, and made available to the press by the Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Umanah, the public was reminded that the Notice of Revocation issued on August 25, 2025, affected all land allocations made from May 29, 2023.

According to the statement, the Ministry of Lands and Town Planning is now open for the revalidation of the affected allocations. Members of the public who hold land allocation letters or any other proof of title are advised to present them to the Revalidation Committee at the Ministry’s Conference Room, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo.

The exercise will hold daily between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., from December 1 to December 31, 2025.
