The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled Nyesom Wike, the minister of the federal capital territory (FCT) and former governor of Rivers State.
The party also expelled Samuel Anyanwu, its suspended national secretary; and Ayo Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti, from its membership.
The decision was formally announced on Saturday during the party’s national convention held in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
