The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, has felicitated Governor Umo Eno and the good people of Akwa Ibom as the state marks the 38th anniversary of its creation.



In a goodwill message on behalf of the officers and men of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command, the CP said 38 years of existence is a result of hardwork, unity of the people, and successive good leadership in the state.

“This milestone is a testament to the resilience, hard work, and unity of the people of the state. Over the past 38 years, Akwa Ibom has transformed into a beacon of progress and development, earning its rightful place as a leading state in our nation. We are proud to be a part of this success story, contributing to the peace and security that underpins this remarkable growth.

“The Akwa Ibom State Police Command remains unwavering in its commitment to protecting lives and property, and also ensuring a safe and secure environment for all citizens and residents. We appreciate the continued support and cooperation from the State Government and the public, which has been instrumental in our efforts towards maintaining law and order.

“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, we pray for continued peace, prosperity, and greater achievements for Akwa Ibom State”, CP Azare’s goodwill message said.
