The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and its Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, for officially recognising the Senator David Mark-led leadership of the party.
In a statement posted on X, Bolaji Abdullahi, National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, congratulated party members and democracy advocates across the country.

“We commend @INECNigeria and its Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, for standing on the right side of history and supporting the cause of multi-party democracy. Arise and shine, Nigeria!” Abdullahi wrote.
INEC’s recognition of the new leadership was confirmed on Wednesday through an update to the party’s details on the commission’s official website, listing the new executive members and signaling the end of a protracted leadership crisis within the party.
