The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Akwa Ibom State Council, has assured KADEG Integrated Services Limited, an indigenous Construction and Real Estate firm, that it is open for a mutually beneficial business business partnership.
Chairman of the State Council, Comrade Nsibiet John gave the assurance when a delegation from KADEG Integrated Services Limited paid a courtesy visit to the State Working Committee of the Union, at the NUJ Press Centre, Information Drive, Uyo.
Comrade John, who was represented at the meeting by the Union’s Vice Chairman, Comrade Margaret Moore, appreciated the firm for the visit, guaranteeing that there will be areas of collaboration, which shall be of mutual interest to the Union and KADEG Integrated Services Limited.
Earlier in her remarks, the Director of KADEG Integrated Services Limited, Arch. Kenye Ikponmwosa, said the visit was to seek partnership with the union, particularly in the areas of building construction, architecture, civil works and real estate development.
Arch. Ikponmwosa noted that KADEG is an indigenous construction and real estate company that has operated in Akwa Ibom State for the past three years, and has delivered contracts for reputable institutions such as the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital UUTH, the Judiciary, and the World Bank, among others.
She stressed that the firm boasts of human capacity, technical know-how and reliability on estate management as well as delivering on business agreements; adding that it is currently selling plots of land in its real estate arm, with flexible payment plans ranging from three months to one year, assuring that the firm is open to working with members of the union to achieve their dreams.
The meeting had in attendance the State Secretary of the NUJ, Comrade Nsikak Esenowo; Assistant State Secretary, Comrade Uduak Akai; State Financial Secretary, Comrade Kufre Emmanuel, State Treasurer, Comrade Udeme Hosea, State Auditor, Comrade Dianime Uko and Chairman SWAN, Comrade Emmanuel Akpan, as well as those in the delegation of the construction firm.
