Akwa United has hired the services of Coach Paul Offor as the new Head Coach of the team.

The former Sporting Lagos gaffer who guided the Lagos based team to Nigeria Premier Football league in 2023-24 season has since started work in Uyo and he is currently preparing the Promise Keepers for the upcoming 2025-26 Nigeria National League season.
Offor’s appointment was confirmed in a statement released by the club on Wednesday, August 21.
The young tactician will be assisted by Tosin Adekugbe, Okechukwu Promise, Bassey Akpan and Akarandut Orok who will serve as the goalkeeper coach.

Meanwhile, Joseph Eno has been appointed as the new chairman of the club.
Other members of the management team are Pastor Ini Edoho – Vice Chairman, Mr. Jimmy Joshua – General Manager, Elder Omon Bassey – Club Secretary, Mr. Festus Akpan – Team Manager, Mr. Mfon Patrick – Media Manager and Mr. NsikakAbasi Akpan – Assistant Media Manager.
Akwa United were relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, last season.
