The Uyo Federal Constituency will host the eighth Town Square meeting by the Akwa Ibom State government on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
It would take place at the Ibom Hall grounds, IBB Way, Uyo and promises to be the most splendid, beautiful and well-organized of them all.
Town square meetings are being organized to provide opportunity for the Akwa Ibom Governor Pastor Umo Eno to meet and appreciate Akwa Ibom people for their support during and after the elections and for the people to make suggestions on their developmental needs.
Some of the suggested project would be incorporated into the 2026 budget. The governor will also announce his empowerment programmes to the people at the meeting, just as he did in the other seven events.
