An Uyo-based scientist, Dr Anietie Ikott, has concluded a 21-day test of his recently invented weather control technology.

Speaking with newsmen in Uyo, Saturday, Ikott said during the period of testing, heavy rain, strong wind and thunder storm were abated.

He said the testing came when it was forecasted that the state would witness heavy rainfall which would lead to serious flooding.

“It is very clear that from 1st to 21st June, 2025, we were able to create and maintain good business friendly weather as there was no heavy rain all the way through, hence no flood.

“We deliberately choose to carry out this function testing in the period with previous years of very heavy rainfall, backed up with the current forecast of very heavy rainfall and flooding within the period in Uyo to completely eliminate probability factors and prove the efficacy of our device.”

The chief executive director of Anirich Nig. Limited claimed that beyond excessive rainfalls, the weather control technology can control earthquakes, tornadoes, cyclones, hurricanes, excessive winter ice formation, ice storms and excessive thunderstorms.
