Speaking in Uromi during the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign for the upcoming by-election in Edo Central Senatorial District, Okpebholo urged candidates from opposition parties to defect to the ruling APC and join him in advancing the state’s development.

The governor also described the senatorial by-election as a litmus test, affirming that the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 is already assured in Edo State.
