The Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno is set to inaugurate the model school in obot Akara on Thursday, July 31. The School is one of 31 such institutions constructed across all Local Government Areas of the state, as part of the Governor’s strategic investment in education under the ARISE Agenda.
The school is designed to provide a safe, modern, and inclusive learning environment, featuring spacious classrooms equipped with smart teaching aids that reflect global best practices in educational delivery.
Additional facilities include a fully equipped ICT laboratory to promote digital literacy, a well-stocked library, and an e-learning resource centre to support research and self-paced learning. A functional sickbay is also provided to ensure the health and well-being of students and staff. In line with the Governor’s commitment to sustainability, the facility is powered by solar energy for steady and eco-friendly electricity supply.
This commissioning marks another milestone in the Eno administration’s resolve to deliver quality education and ensure equal access to learning opportunities across Akwa Ibom State.
