The Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has reiterated his commitment to the peace and unity of all residents in the state regardless of political affiliations.

Governor Eno gave the reassurance on Wednesday, July 2, during the monthly covenant service at the Banquet Hall of Government House, Uyo.

“Although, I was elected on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, platform, I am now in All Progressives Congress, APC, but I will continue to serve the people irrespective of political affiliations.

“Let me take this opportunity to thank the people of Akwa Ibom for the support given to us so far, especially during our recent movement to the APC, without record of any sad occurrence.
