Ex-Senate President, David Mark, Resigns From PDP

The former Senate President David Mark has formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ending his long-standing association with the party.

Senator Mark’s decision was revealed in a resignation letter dated June 27, addressed to the PDP ward chairman in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State. The resignation is effective immediately, according to the letter he submitted, PlatinumPost reported.

The development comes just hours after the opposition coalition adopted the African Democratic Congress, ADC, as its new political platform and announced Senator David Mark as the coalition’s interim National Chairman.
