The All Progressives Congress, APC, Akwa Ibom State Chapter has thanked members and stakeholders for the overwhelming turnout, support and participation during last Saturday’s reception rally in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in honour of the Akwa Ibom Governor Pastor Umo Eno.
This was contained in an official statement released in Uyo and signed by the State Party Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
The State Chairman while thanking members and stakeholders, highlighted the importance of unity and peace among its members.
Obong Ntukekpo, expressed gratitude to party members and supporters for their overwhelming turnout and enthusiastic participation in a recent reception rally.
The APC has been gaining momentum in Akwa Ibom State, with Governor Umo Eno’s recent defection from the PDP to the APC. The party’s growing strength is attributed to the discipline and unity of its members.
It reads in part: “Your dedication, discipline, and unity remain the driving force behind the APC’s strength in Akwa Ibom.
“As we continue to build a stronger, more United and well-coordinated Party, we urged all members to maintain peace, harmony and mutual respect in all engagements, to foster the steady growth of our Party.
“We further encourage all members to work in close alignment with the office of the State Chairman to sustain the unity and cohesion needed for the continued advancement of our Party and our dear State.
“Let me also assure you that consultations are ongoing, and a timetable for the next phase of activities will be released soon by the Governor,” the State Chairman noted.
The party urged members to remain united, focused, and committed to their shared progressive vision.
This development comes as the APC continues to strengthen its presence in Akwa Ibom State, with President Bola Tinubu assuring Governor Eno that his expectations will be met.
